Installations

All Degree residential installers are accredited technicians and are supported by an in-house registered electrician.

Installation involves piping between the interior and exterior units, then connecting this to a power supply. Sometimes, new wiring may be necessary because existing circuits are already at capacity.

Degree’s registered master electrician will recommend the most appropriate solution and will be able to certify all electrical work for peace of mind.

Electrical

Degree’s Registered Master Electricians can take care of all your residential electrical needs including:

  • New homes
  • Renovations
  • Rewires
  • Additional power and lighting
  • Switch board upgrades
  • Any other electrical requirements.

Maintenance

Heat pumps not only keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. They also help to reduce dust, making the air you breathe healthier. The filters in your heat pump collect this dust so it is important they are cleaned at least every 6 weeks.

Degree recommends that all residential heat pumps are serviced annually. This involves checking and cleaning the filters, condensate drain and drain outlets, tightening electrical connections, and checking for refrigerant leaks. The overall operation of each heat pump is thoroughly tested to ensure it is operating at optimum capacity.

A properly serviced heat pump will keep running efficiently, last longer and free your living environment from musty odours. Degree’s annual servicing will also preserve the warranty conditions for new products.
